At The PULSE, a group consists of 10 or more registered and paid dancers. As a group, you’ll receive additional PULSE Perks! -A group of 10 or more students receives ONE FREE TEACHER PASS. For every additional 10 students, one teacher comes free. Please note: this special offer is valid for every 10 PAID dancers brought to The PULSE.
10 dancers = 1 free teacher
20 dancers = 2 free teachers

• Creative Connect: Your time with The PULSE faculty! Take advantage of this unique opportunity and bring your best questions to this intimate conversation. The PULSE celebrity faculty joins you for LUNCH! Ask them anything during a Q & A for teachers only. During this time the faculty will speak to the teachers or leaders of the groups who performed at the Performance Showcase Saturday night and give constructive critiques.
• Teacher Class: Don’t miss this private class with one of the most respected and sought-after choreographers! Closed to all students, you must have a teacher ALL ACCESS band to enter. This class is one of the most talked about experiences at the PULSE!
When forming your group, please keep the following in mind:
• Ages 11 and older are welcome to participate in classes.
• Please select the appropriate level when registering -- choose a level that best fits your dancer’s age and dance ability.
• Once you have registered, dancers will not be permitted to switch levels.
INTERMEDIATE: This level is designed for dancers ages 11-14. Classes will be taught for the intermediate-advanced dancer. We suggest a minimum of 5 years of dance training prior to the event. Dancers should be knowledgeable of the convention class setting and well-rounded in their dance education.
ADVANCED: This level is designed for dancers ages 14-17. Classes will be taught for the advanced dancer. Movement will be given quickly and choreography is expected to be learned and performed without hesitation.*
ADVANCED/PRO: This is our most mature level. The direction from the faculty will be geared for adult language and expression. This level is best or dancers ages 17+, for teachers, teacher assistants and advanced dancers. In some cities, we may combine the Adv and Adv pro based on enrollment.*
The PULSE faculty members are professional, working choreographers and seasoned teachers. All material is taught at a fast pace, yet encouraging environment. Our goal is to motivate and inspire each and every student at The PULSE. We ask that you respect not only the dancer’s age, but his/her training level when selecting the registration type. Separate color wristbands will be given for each level.

We would love to keep you posted with updated information about the specific city you are considering, in an effort to ease the stress of getting your group together to dance with us on tour! We at The PULSE know this can sometimes be a hard task. Please understand that by filling out this form for your group, no actual registrations are made. NEW! STUDIO MANAGEMENT BAND
Are you a retired teacher or a non-dancing studio owner? We have created an option just for you! The studio management band will allow you to not only observe class in all 3 levels but also access into Teacher Reception and Creative Connect. This band is $110 and is reserved just for groups! You may add a maximum of 5 studio management bands.
NEW! LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
Group Leaders, we know sometimes your hardest working student doesn't always get recognized in the ways they deserve. We are hoping you can help us to reward these growing leaders within your groups. Enclosed in your group packet will be one Leadership Scholarship that you are welcome to award to whichever dancer has been the best example for their peers. This scholarship is good for $100 off a regional PULSE during the 2010-2011 tour.
NEW! TEACHER SCHOLARSHIP
This year we are rewarding teachers their very own scholarship in each city. We will give away a FREE tuition for the 2011 Teacher Workshop in NYC during the teacher class in each city.
PARENTS
Parents, we thank you for choosing The PULSE as the foundation for your dancer’s training. We know you have many choices available for workshops and events and we are glad you will be joining our PULSE family. Your dancer’s dance education is our priority.
OBSERVER BANDS
During the weekend, we hope you will be an Observer and sit in on the inspiring classes. We would allow everyone to watch, but we limit observers to provide proper dance space for your participants. We want YOU, the parents and guests, to enjoy the same excitement that your dancers do! Purchase one-day observer bands or a weekend pass to enter in and out of classes. The PULSE Performance (Saturday evening), however, is FREE for all guests!
FRIDAY ONE-DAY OBSERVERS: $15
SATURDAY ONE-DAY OBSERVERS: $20
WEEKEND OBSERVERS: $45
• All observer bands are non-refundable.
• Children six and under observe free of charge. Sorry, no discounts for young observers seven and older
• Observer bands may sell out. Pre-registration is suggested. If observer bands are still available, they will be sold on-site during check-in.
• You must be accompanying a dancer to observe.
• Noise level and activity should be kept to a minimum out of consideration for the faculty and dancers. No cell phones, please.
• No filming or flash photography during classes.
• No note taking, please. Seating is limited. REGISTER NOW!
