Dancers should be knowledgeable of the "convention" class setting and well-rounded in their dance education.*Advanced/Beginner and Intermediate may be combined for some classes
ADVANCED: This level is geared for dancers ages 15-18. Classes will be taught for the Advanced dancer. Movement will be given quickly and choreography is expected to be learned and performed without hesitation. *Advanced and Advanced/Pro may be combined for some classes
ADVANCED/PRO: This is our most mature level. The direction from the faculty will be geared for adult language and expression. For dancers ages 17+, for the Teachers, Assistants and Advanced dancer. *Advanced and Advanced/Pro may be combined for some classes
The PULSE faculty members are professional, working choreographers and seasoned teachers. All material is taught at a fast pace, yet encouraging environment. Our goal is to motivate and inspire each and every student at The PULSE. We ask that you respect not only the dancer’s age, but his/her training level when selecting the registration type. Separate color wristbands will be given for each level.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Any registered participants are eligible for scholarships! Dancers pick up a number during check-in or before their first class. Auditioning is optional. You do not have to wear a number, but why not? We do not have a traditional closed audition. Instead, The PULSE faculty choose to reward dancers who catch their eye in classes, whether it’s recognizing technique, drive, style or enthusiasm. This process not only permits more class time, but also allows a controlled, creative, casual atmosphere. We ask that you wear your scholarship number throughout the entire event so each faculty can get the chance to see you during your class performance!
The PULSE awards over $30,000 in scholarships at each event including PULSE Convention Scholarships, PULSE Summer Scholarships, Training Scholarships to studios and more!
Are you already a scholarship recipient? Congratulations! We can’t wait to have you back at The PULSE! You must contact us to redeem your scholarship.
